How Do I Register My Device?

For any device purchased after March 1, 2021:  No device registration is needed! When and if a warranty request is made, we will locate your purchase via the email address used to make your purchase - in addition, please have your order # and personal information ready for confirmation. If you do not remember the email address used to make your purchase, a customer support representative will have other ways of validating your order and request.  


For any device purchased before March 1, 2021: Please complete the warranty registration form above with the information you supplied when checking out your order. Your device's serial number will be located on either your device or on the last page of your instructional manual.  

What is Covered Under The Manufacturer Warranty?

Our 1-Year manufacturer's warranty covers any device malfunctions that may arise from the normal-use of your device up to 1-year from the date of purchase. This includes any defects on the design of the device, the diodes, the charger, and in most cases the battery (please see below). 


What is not covered: 
Our manufacturer's warranty does not cover any damages or defects caused by liquid spills, dropped/smashed devices, or through weather damage (Extreme heat/cold temperatures). In most cases, the battery is covered - but only under circumstances where it's a defected battery.


Warranty Example Scenarios: 

Example A:   Jack purchases a helmet and finds that after just 3 months of use, his helmet cannot complete a full session without needed to be recharged. In this situation, Jack's order qualifiesfor a replacement under our manufacturer warranty as this is likely a defected battery. 

Example B:   Joanne purchases a helmet and after 7 months finds that one of the diodes in her helmet doesn't emit any light. In this situation, Joanne qualifies for a replacement under our manufacturer warranty.

Example C:   Arvin purchases a helmet and by accident spills his green tea on the device. The device does not turn on anymore due to liquid damage and as a result does not qualify for a replacement under our manufacturer warranty. Although, if Arvin purchased a carePlus plan - his helmet will be covered for any defects or damages incurred by spilling his green tea.

How Do I Request Service For a Faulty/Defected Device?

To obtain warranty service, please contact us directly at support@hairtific.com or through our live chat detailing any technical issues with your device. Please be prepared to provide the e-mail address/phone number used to place your order and your full name. Please allow 1 to 3 business days for a representative to get in contact with you. 

What is the CarePlus Plan? (Additional Product Coverage)

Our CarePlus plan is an optional protection plan that provides a full 1-Year coverage (from-the-date of purchase) on damages not covered under our standard 1-Year Manufacturer's warranty. Such damages include liquid spills, dropped/smashed devices, weather damage caused by extreme hot or cold temperatures, battery issues, and any other unforeseen event that may hinder or prevent the use of your device. 

Please note: This does not cover "missing" or "lost" or "stolen" devices.
